If you are looking to enjoy the full bloom of Spring, visit the Chesapeake Arboretum. This hidden gem of Chesapeake is located on Oak Grove Road (right off of Battlefield Blvd., near Knells Ridge) and hosts an 18th century homestead with extensive walking trails and a beautiful tree and flower sanctuary. You are sure to see a butterfly or two on this excursion.

For the active family that wants to get out in the sun, the always amazing Fun Forest Playground is waiting for you at Chesapeake City Park.  This large children’s playground allows children of all ages, a safe and fun environment with lots of shade and seating for any parent or child that needs some rest.
