About Us

Apple Tree Learning Center offers families living in communities throughout the Hampton Roads area and Northeast North Carolina with quality childcare in an early learning center environment which includes: infant, toddler, preschool, kindergarten, and extended care. With four locations in Chesapeake and Suffolk, we are well-equipped to provide your child with the early education learning that they need to soar in the future. Centrally located to all seven cities of Hampton Roads, our current locations also benefit those families living in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth and cities throughout Northeast North Carolina.

In addition to our quality early education childcare programs, we provide preschool, kindergarten, and primary school education in a safe, loving setting. We teach from carefully chosen curriculum (Pinnacle and Creative Curriculum through Teaching Strategies) and enhance it with creative teaching techniques, unique educational opportunities like learning centers and hands on activities, as well as the use of technology. Apple Tree Learning Centers’ parents and teachers work hand in hand to prepare our students to be life-long Christian learners, and to apply their knowledge and skills in meeting life’s challenges.

Our Leadership

Apple Tree Learning Centers is a not-for-profit organization and is registered with the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) 3. Children and families have been warmly welcomed at Apple Tree Learning Centers since the Organization was founded in 1989.

The board of directors is entrusted with the task of forming policies necessary to guide the day-to-day operation of the school.
